Today Mark shoots exclusively digital images using Nikon professional cameras and lenses. The digital work flow has allowed him to respond quickly to time critical jobs and offers a back-end post processing capability that is unmatched in the traditional wet processing lab. Mark processes and retouches all images himself ensuring the quality and detail is maintained on each photo from the moment of capture to the final print. His expertise in tools like Adobe's Photoshop and Lightroom are exceptional.
Though Mark still does some landscape and nature photography, his primary photographic interests are capturing the beauty of people. Mark Pruitt Photography is recognized for his Beauty photography working with models from all over the country. He works with many experienced models and those just getting started on portfolio development. He has taken those same skills and photographic style that make him a sought after Beauty photographer and applied them to Fashion, Fine Art, Maternity, Infant, High School Senior and other types of portraiture. This style results in dramatic images that are truly unique.
Mark also shoots weddings in primarily a photo journalistic style, but incorporates some traditional, artistic, and beauty concepts in his images that offer a truly unique package. As a wedding photographer, Mark feels that it is critically important to dedicate the entire day to the bride and groom on this special day. Mark Pruitt Photography's in-house studio is fully equipped and conveniently located just off of Interstate 5 south of the Portland Metro area in Wilsonville. We also have portable equipment for on location shoots. We offer a full complement of large format digital printing services in addition to our photographic services. A make-up artist is available by appointment for select shoots and for a fee.
